TEREA Carton Price vs Packs: Per Stick, Per Day, Per Month

By the iqoser team · Updated · 5 min read

Packs of TEREA Turquoise stacked as a carton

A TEREA carton is ten packs in one box: 200 sticks instead of 20. The question most people actually want answered is simple: how much does the carton save per stick, and does that add up to anything meaningful over a month? Below is the full working at today's prices, so you can check every number yourself.

The starting prices

TEREA prices on iqoser vary a little by blend, so everything here is a range:

  • Pack of 20 sticks: ₹320 to ₹360
  • Carton of 200 sticks (10 packs): ₹3,000 to ₹3,400
  • Per stick, overall: ₹15 to ₹18

Prices on the site update live, so the links and product pages always show the current figures. The worked numbers below use today's prices; if prices change, redo the arithmetic the same way.

The per-stick maths

From a pack. At today's prices a pack is ₹320 to ₹360. Divide by 20 sticks:

  • ₹320 ÷ 20 = ₹16 per stick
  • ₹360 ÷ 20 = ₹18 per stick

From a carton. At today's prices a carton is ₹3,000 to ₹3,400. Divide by 200 sticks:

  • ₹3,000 ÷ 200 = ₹15 per stick
  • ₹3,400 ÷ 200 = ₹17 per stick

So at today's prices, a carton works out about ₹1 cheaper per stick than buying the same blend in packs, assuming the blend sits at the same point in both ranges.

Per day and per month

Here is that ₹1 per stick across different daily habits. Monthly figures use a 30-day month, and all figures are at today's prices.

Sticks a day Per day, packs Per day, carton Per month, packs Per month, carton Monthly difference
5 ₹80–90 ₹75–85 ₹2,400–2,700 ₹2,250–2,550 about ₹150
10 ₹160–180 ₹150–170 ₹4,800–5,400 ₹4,500–5,100 about ₹300
15 ₹240–270 ₹225–255 ₹7,200–8,100 ₹6,750–7,650 about ₹450
20 ₹320–360 ₹300–340 ₹9,600–10,800 ₹9,000–10,200 about ₹600

The working for one row, so you can follow it: at 10 sticks a day, a month is 10 × 30 = 300 sticks. From packs that is 300 × ₹16 = ₹4,800 to 300 × ₹18 = ₹5,400. From cartons it is 300 × ₹15 = ₹4,500 to 300 × ₹17 = ₹5,100. The gap is ₹300 at either end.

How long a carton lasts

A carton holds 200 sticks. One stick is roughly one session.

Sticks a day A carton lasts about
5 40 days
10 20 days
15 13 days
20 10 days

When a carton makes sense

  • You have settled on a blend. You know you like it and will finish 200 sticks of it.
  • You use your device every day. The per-stick saving only becomes noticeable at regular daily use.
  • You can store it well. Cool, dry, away from sun, and with each pack kept closed until you open it.

When packs make more sense

  • You are still exploring. If you haven't decided between, say, Amber and Bronze, a carton of the wrong one is a costly experiment. Buy single packs until you are sure.
  • You like variety. Packs let you keep two or three blends on the go.
  • Storage is a problem. In very humid conditions, opened packs can lose their flavour, so a carton that sits for weeks needs care. Our TEREA storage guide for Chennai covers this.

A mixed approach

Many daily users end up with a carton of their main blend and an occasional single pack of something else, a menthol for hot afternoons or a capsule blend for a change. You get the per-stick saving on most of what you use, without losing variety. You can see every blend in the TEREA collection. For a simpler sticks-per-day version of this decision, see our TEREA guide for Bangalore.

An honest note on the numbers

A lower price per stick is a reason to buy the way that suits you, not a reason to use more. Every TEREA stick contains nicotine, which is addictive, and heated tobacco is not risk-free. If you look at the monthly figures above and wince, it is worth remembering that the biggest saving of all is quitting, and the free support available in India is listed in our quit smoking guide.

If you want to compare these numbers with what you spend on cigarettes now, our IQOS cost guide for India walks through that with your own pack price.
